Appointments: The meeting that was originally scheduled between the School District and Paul Sebring was cancelled as issue has been resolved after a conversation between Paul and Roger.

Discussion:
May meeting will be held on Saturday may 14 at Hillside Cemetery.  DCR will do a walk thorough of Hillside Cemetery to assist the department in tree maintenance.  They will offer input on tree pruning and what trees might need to be removed.  There is a type of pine beetle in the trees (not the Asian).
Columbarium:  Roger has been doing research on the various types and construction as well as cost.  He reported there are many styles from just the frame all the way up to the whole package.  To date the least expensive companies are from the west coast. Currently a lot is $525.00 opening is $250.00 (cremation) the cost of a niche possible $500.00. The niche would be in section 10. Roger would have a mason help install.  There were questions regarding the lettering and design.  Commissioners like the idea but would like more information.
Uniforms:  The idea of uniforms was brought up to the commissioners.  Other departments have a clothing allowance for their crews.  Having uniforms would easily identify the department workers especially when working around town at areas like the Senior Center/Library.  Crew would look more workman like and professional.  Uniform would consist of cargo pants and a polo shirt.  Tee Shirts would be available to part time help.  Roger reported that the crew was really excited about the idea of getting uniforms.  Item will be discussed with a full board.
DPW meeting 4/6. The selectmen are meeting with the committee tonight.  John is planning on attending the meeting.
Adams Dam/Trestle area on hold.
Superintendents report:
Roger would like to get road grading done at Riverside Cemetery.  He has contacted several excavators He could get work done for $1000.00 by Peter Antosh.  John Barrett moved for $1000.00 for Peter Antosh to grade Riverside Cemetery.  Ray second all were in favor motion carried.
Roger received a call from Recreation Comm. About complaints that they have been receiving about dog(s) at Craven Field.  Roger will remind the Recreation Comm that the sports fields do not fall under Cemetery & Park jurisdiciation.

The burial fee for John Cheney’s sister will be waived.
